Why start a veteran owned small business? Veterans have the motivation, character, discipline and skills needed to succeed as small business owners and entrepreneurs. Wondering what it takes and how you can prepare? Enrolling in the Boots to Business Reboot course is one step you can take now. The Boots to Business Reboot curriculum will include steps for evaluating business concepts, the foundational knowledge required to develop a business plan, and an introduction to the SBA resources available for accessing start-up capital, mentoring and additional technical assistance. After completing the Introduction to Entrepreneurship class, veterans and their spouses are eligible to enroll in SBA’s Foundations of Entrepreneurship follow-on training, which will help sharpen the focus on your business idea.
