When starting a new construction or trade business, most entrepreneurs begin their research by asking, “Do I need bonding and how do I get it?”  Getting bonded provides great comfort to potential clients and allows you to bid on certain projects that require it.  SBA will be hosting a free workshop covering the basics of bonding for small business.   Participants will learn the bonding process from industry experts and how financial statements can be useful to obtain bonding.  Speakers: John Bustard of King & Neel, Inc., and Larry Ono of Ono & Chen CPAs LLC.

This is Part 4 of 4 to the 2017 Federal Contracting Readiness Series which covers four weeks (Wednesdays) of FREE workshops to prepare small businesses for federal contracting.

PARKING:  SBA does not validate parking however; metered parking is available on the street and surface lots in surrounding blocks.  The parking garage at Waterfront Plaza charges $3 per half hour but with a nominal purchase, many Waterfront Plaza food merchants offer validation for up to 2-1/2 hours. Entrance to the parking garage is on Pohukaina Street and South Street.
